Flowers in stylized forms appear widely from the 11th century onwards, forming the core of Tibetan decorative art. They embellish the background of thangkas and decorate furniture, murals, and carpets. Our brocade flower-patterned boxes are inspired by silk brocade patterns traditionally used to mount painted and appliquéd thangkas.

Our Brocade Stationary Box is designed to hold your treasured writing essentials. Of comfortable size, it includes a removable tray. Skillfully crafted by our woodwork artisans, it is hand-painted in the traditional kyumbur style.
